2018 Graduate & Professional Student Orientation

GPSG will be hosting new student orientation at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum on Tuesday, August 22nd from 2:00pm – 5:00pm, with a welcome picnic following at the Connolly Ballroom, Alumni Hall from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. Orientation is designed to welcome new and returning graduate and professional students and to introduce them to all that Pitt has to offer. The Welcome Address will provide an introduction to the administration and GPSG mission.  The Resource Fair will showcase tables of organizations and services at The University of Pittsburgh and offer new students the opportunity to seek information and ask questions.

Title IX

2:30 pm to 3:15 pm – Auditorium, Soldiers & Sailors

Title IX Presentation by Katie Pope: Students will have the opportunity to learn about current policies and procedures at Pitt regarding Title IX, the US statute against sex discrimination in programs receiving federal financial assistance. Potential situations will be presented.
