The GPSG President’s responsibilities are primarily to represent graduate student interests and to administer the functioning of the GPSG. This includes coordinating relations with the administration at the University of Pittsburgh and with other organizations outside of the university (such as state and local government, and various student organizations). In addition, the President presides over meetings of the GPSG Executive and Assembly Boards, attends a variety of University committees, and interacts in various capacities with representatives of the many graduate student organizations at the University.
