The Vice President of Programming is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing GPSG’s many social and cultural events for the benefit of graduate students. This includes working with various University staff, volunteers, and business persons in preparing for events, facilitating ticket sales, advertising events, and other event-related activities. The VP of Programming works closely with the VP of Communications to advertise and disseminate information regarding various GPSG events, through electronic media. The VP of Programming also reaches out to other student organizations on campus to collaborate and plan joint events, and recruits persons to plan and work at events by staffing and administering the Event Planning Committee.
